Originally founded in 2006, the Quinte Go Club is dedicated to promoting the board game of go (also known as weiqi and baduk) in Ontario's Bay of Quinte region.
From absolute beginners to experienced players, all are welcome to join us.
At Quinte Go Club meetings, we play the game, teach anyone who wants to learn, occasionally review professional games, and above all, have fun!
The club had been on hiatus for a few years, but has resumed activities in 2016. We've moved from our previous location at Urban Escape cafe - beginning November 19, we'll meet Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm at Scalliwag Toys, 302 Front Street, Belleville, Ontario. Occasionally, our meetings will be preempted due to other events at the store, email us for more information.
As of 2023, club is not currently active but please reach out for inquiries.
