Time:  9:30am-16:00pm, Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014

Location:  Taiwanese Cultural Centre (8859 Selkirk St., Vancouver, B.C. Canada V6P 4J6)

Fees:  $25 for pre-register contestants/ all level; $30 for walk-in contestants.( include lunch)

The actual fees will be collected on site the first morning, but it is important players pre-register so we can plan properly for who will be attending.  Also the player list from this registration loads directly in the pairing program (and the results feed back in to the CGA ratings), so all players will need to register here to participate.    

Age:  Under 30-year-old

Tournament rules and regulations: Mcmahon system. Black stone holders would concede 6.5 points when facing same level / group white stone holders. Each contestant would be arranged 5 matches (2 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon) during the tournament. Any contestant who is tardy beyond 10 minutes will be disqualified from the match.

Number of Groups/Levels: 5. Or will be determined by the number of contestants.

   Group A: D3 and up (30 minutes per match)

   Group B: D1-D2 (25 minutes per match)

   Group C: K1-K4

   Group D: K5-K8

   Group E: K9 and under

Prize: All Contestants-Certificates of participation.

Top 5 finishers of each group -Commendations and gifts.
