Golden Key is hosting its second annual Halloween social, 6-9 PM on Friday October 28th.  And even better, it is free! Constumes are welcomed, but not required. Last year a lightning tournament was used.  This year it will be a relay team match.  Relay team matches seem to be popular in China now.  There was one planned for the US Go congress until the Chinese team that was scheduled to participate had visa issues.

Golden key's own web page for the event is here.  It includes a document on relay team rules, but since google translate was used its far from clear.  Following instructions on arrival will suffice for partificants.

The rough idea is you are grouped into teams of 6 or more players.  Different players play different parts of the game.  And there is some ability to ask your team for help when you need it.

I think the choice of a team format for a social should work very nicely.  Although there is no fee, pre-registration on the CGA site here would be much appreciated, so we can plan ahead as to what the teams might be.  Hope to see you all there!
