IEEE WCCI Human-versus-Computer Go Competition

The final games of the IEEE WCCI Computer-vs-Human Go competition will take place on Monday, July 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The finals are free and open to the public.

Featured tournament players include Chun-Hsun Chou (9P) and Ping-Chiang Chou (6P) of Taiwan, and female Japanese title holder Yimin Hsieh (6P).

Computer programs include Facebook USA’s DarkForest, Zen (Japan), CGI (Taiwain) and Pachi (Czech Republic).

The finals will be followed by a TED-style talk on "Fun and Games with Artificial Intelligence" by Dr. Fogel, author of Blondie24: Playing at the Edges of AI.
