Tournament Rules:

• 5 Rounds - MacMahon Pairing;
• AGA Rule, 13x13 board （Novice group），19x19 board（other groups）, Komi 7.5(Chinese Counting: Black 88.5 wins for 13x13 board，Black 184.5 wins for 19x19 board);
• Handicaps based on CGA rating requirements.
• 20 minutes main time, no byo-yomi time. (Clock will be used under the discretion of the Tournament Director.)

Promotion table:

Novice group (40K – 21K)

• *If they don’t previously have a CGA certificate, they can get 25K instead of “None” with 1+ wins.

20K – 16K

• *If they don’t previously have a CGA certificate, they can get 20K instead of “None” with 1+ wins.
• **If they don’t previously have a CGA certificate, they can get their entry rank instead of “None” with 2 wins.

15K – 11K

• If they don’t previously have a CGA certificate, they can get 15K instead of “None” with 1+ wins.
• If they don’t previously have a CGA certificate, they can get their entry rank instead of “None” with 2 wins.

10K – 6K

• *If they don’t previously have a CGA certificate, they can get 10K instead of “None” with 1+ wins.
• **If they don’t previously have a CGA certificate, they can get their entry rank instead of “None” with 2 wins.

5K – 1K

• *If they don’t previously have a CGA certificate, they can get 5K instead of “None” with 1+ wins.
• **If they don’t previously have a CGA certificate, they can get their entry rank instead of “None”.

• 1D or above players will be collecting winning points in order to upgrade their level (the points will be calculated by CGA system)
• If you are unsure about your child’s rank, please ask your current Go teacher. If you already have Go Rank Certificate, please register based on that.
• 25K-21K division will use 13 x 13 board, other division will use 19x19 board to play.
• Beginners who win at least 1 game out of 5 will get a certificate of 25K.

• The participant should not quit the tournament in the middle of the day. All players need to complete five rounds of games. If the player gets sick or encounters emergency situations during the tournament and has to leave, the player will not be raised to their proposed level even with enough wins.
• General consent to video and photographs taken at tournament or other event for use in social media, company reports, show programs, and or marketing materials.
• Players under 12 years old require parental supervision.

• 5轮麦克马洪编排
• 美国围棋协会（AGA）规则，新手组采用13x13棋盘，其他组采用19x19棋盘，贴目7.5目（如果是中国数子法，13路比赛黑88.5胜，19路比赛黑184.5胜);
• 根据CGA等级赛要求进行让子对局
• 20分钟包干时间（现场裁判根据情况加钟）

升级规则表

• 1D或者更高级别的选手，将通过比赛胜局积分升级（积分将由CGA等级系统进行计算）
• 如果不确定选手的级别，请咨询相关老师，如果有级别认证，请按照级别认证或服从比赛安排。
• 25K-21K组使用13x13棋盘，其他组使用19路棋盘.
• 新手组胜1局即可获得25K认证

• 参赛者不得半途退赛，所有参赛者都需要完成5轮比赛对局。
• 参赛即表示同意主办方在比赛期间拍摄的视频及照片的可用于内部教学及对外宣传展示。
• 12岁以下的参赛选手，需要家长陪同监护。
